Mediabird and Moodle
Using
Mediabird Study Notes allows for taking notes related to any page in
your Moodle course. With the collaborative Mediabird notepad,
you can note down anything that comes up in your mind, drag and drop
content onto the note sheet or search notes shared by your study mates.
All notes taken using Mediabird Study Notes can be annotated, tagged and shared. This way, problems in understanding course material can be solved quickly and collaboratively.
Basic Workflow
- Take notes, copy & paste content from the course or drag & drop it onto the notepad.
- Use text marker to highlight important parts of the notes and relate them to questions, problems or annotations.
- Share the notes you've taken with your study group.
- All students the notes are shared with now have the opportunity to help solving problems and discuss and extend the shared notes.
The groups with which the learners share their content do not have to be the same as the groups that have access to the course. In fact notes are shared in a custom group defined by the sharer.
Additional commitment for the teachers?
Since Mediabird Study Notes is a self-organised way of studying, there is no additional effort required by the teachers. It is however possible to participate in the learning environment.
