Development
There hasn't been that much news recently. We've improved our German homepage and added a few videos that are going to be translated next week.
In addition to that, we've gathered a lot feedback on a workshop we organized at the end of January. We will work on improving Mediabird during the next weeks!
In terms of development, we've finally made Mediabird compatible with Internet Explorer 7. As requested by many users, Mediabird now adjusts to the size of the browser window. No space left empty unused!
There've been a lot of questions concerning the open source edition of Mediabird. It is no longer being maintained. Please try the new version here. Contact us if you're interested in details on how to get it installed on you server!

To make it easier for people interested in the upcoming Mediabird release to evaluate the new version: You can try it out on our testing environment. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome. The software is to be released in the next few weeks.

And old map of the world.
Thanks to community effort, Mediabird Study Notes is now available in Spanish. This is particularly interesting for students in lower grades that are not that much used to speaking English. Hungarian and Hebrew translations are in progress.
To get the translated version, just download and unpack the Mediabird Moodle extension (will be updated from tomorrow on).
We appreciate the positive community feedback a lot and we are looking forward to providing you with a revamped interface and optimized work flow in the upcoming release.

During the last days, we could fix a lot of minor issues under Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 8.
Thanks to James Jenkins, president of the QIMT, we could substantially improve the user experience on Internet Explorer 8 and improve the compatibility of the Mediabird Moodle activity.
We recommend updating your installation.

During the last weeks, there's been a lot of bug fixing and planning of new features and improvements.
We've got a lot of new customers and have set up a survey for more specific feedback than possible using the feedback button in Mediabird. Anyone who's been using Mediabird is welcome to participate.
During the last das, there's been a few posts on Mediabird on others blogs. See Dearborn Schools, and in particular the QEM has posted a few hints on how to use Mediabird. Thanks to all of them.
Note that both Frank and me are using twitter. We usually use hash-tag "#mediabird". Stay tuned.
