There hasn't been that much news recently. We've improved our German homepage and added a few videos that are going to be translated next week.
In addition to that, we've gathered a lot feedback on a workshop we organized at the end of January. We will work on improving Mediabird during the next weeks!
In terms of development, we've finally made Mediabird compatible with Internet Explorer 7. As requested by many users, Mediabird now adjusts to the size of the browser window. No space left empty unused!
There've been a lot of questions concerning the open source edition of Mediabird. It is no longer being maintained. Please try the new version here. Contact us if you're interested in details on how to get it installed on you server!

To make it easier for people interested in the upcoming Mediabird release to evaluate the new version: You can try it out on our testing environment. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome. The software is to be released in the next few weeks.

Thanks to Anthony's and our combined effort, we've brought Mediabird Study Notes into the Moodle CONTRIB CVS.
Looking forward to feedback from everyone. Be it known that we understand both German and English (and the activity does so too).

Check this post by Graham Attwell to get an insight on what we've discussed on the #educamp. Among other topics related to education, we focussed on the future of learning in times of Web2.0. Note that I was among the interviewees as well...

The release 0.5.2 brings a lot of new features, as anounced in a previous post.
First of all, it brings major improvements in the fields of stability and usability.
In particular for the application in group scenarios, the new version offers live editing and allows multiple users to create new note sheets in the same note folder at the same time. This makes it a lot easier to collaboratively create and annotate content.
