The Mediabird Study Notes Moodle activity now allows for reducing the feature set if required. This can be done from the activity admin settings in the admin panel. This way, technical universities can deactivate the translation function and human sciences can deactivate the equation editor to get an easier-to-use interface.
In addition to that, the overlay interface now allows for radically reducing the feature set for just having the in-place note taking function rather than an overblown overlay.

That makes it a lot easier for students to just take notes and motivates them to have a look at their notes later on. Good idea. In the overlay, I find it very useful to be able to view all my notes using the card box!
